Boilerplate

Zimplfy is a reading and writing helper that lives one shortcut away in every app on Mac, Windows and the web. Select text and it reads it aloud, explains it in plain words, sums it up into a to-do list or rewrites it. Hold a key to dictate and get clean text back. It is built for people who find text hard going and is useful for everyone who meets too much of it. Zimplfy is made by Vauni AB in Sweden.

Zimplfy (say ZIM-pluh-fy) takes any text and makes it simple to read, understand and write. It is a small app for Mac and Windows, and a reader on the web, that works inside whatever you already use: email, documents, chats, PDFs. One shortcut opens a panel next to the cursor with five actions. Read aloud reads the text in a natural Swedish or English voice with the spoken word marked. Explain gives the same content in plain language with every fact kept. Summarize gives a two-line TL;DR and a checklist of what to do. Rewrite polishes a draft in eight styles. Dictate turns speech into clean written text. The free plan has a daily allowance and needs no account; Pro with unlimited use is coming. Text is processed and streamed back, never stored. Zimplfy is made by Vauni AB in Sweden and launched in 2026.

Logos

The mark is a lowercase z whose top stroke is a swipe of highlighter. Keep the clear space, never recolour it, and do not set the wordmark in a font.

Writing the name

  • Zimplfy in running text, capital Z. Never ZIMPLFY, Zimplify or Simplfy.
  • Say it ZIM-pluh-fy, like simplify with a Z.
  • The features are called Read aloud, Explain, Summarize, Rewrite and Dictate.
